A cold day.

30th January 2022

A much colder day with a biting wind. The snow started falling around mid afternoon so there was little change to underfoot condition when I was out. Currently still snowing, hopefully it’ll keep going overnight, we need it!

Storm Corrie expected to move through the area tonight, slightly calmer after that with some fluctuation in the freezing levels expected this week.

Carn an Tuirc this afternoon. Generally the cloud base was around 800 metres with limited visibility.

Just a dusting of snow at 1000 metres.

The winds are expected to be storm to hurricane force again on the hills tonight, time for these guys to get hunkered down!
