A wet and windy day..

As forecasted, it wasn’t a particularly nice day out with little to see above 700 metres. Sunday should be a bit drier during the day but it will be windy again.
Very little to see around 950 metres this morning. Surface layers of the snowpack were wet but otherwise the snow remained dry and cold at this point.
On descent the clouds lifted and the rain stopped. Still reasonable cover above 600 metres but it will continue to thaw for a while yet.
