It was a cold day, particularly where exposed to the strong Northerly winds. Nice to see some new snow on the hill but there was little of it with shallow deposits developing around some wind sheltered features.
There was a dusting of new snow above 600 metres with only shallow accumulations forming in places.Â
Passing old avalanche debris. Remaining snow is very firm and often icy.
