This blog is intended to provide hazard and mountain condition information to help plan safer mountain trips.
A bright and dry day…at last! The patchy snowpack is soft but getting firmer up higher.  Better cover around the tops.

A mountain hare (bottom right) in front of a small cornice collapse. There were a number of avalanches at the end of last week due to very heavy rain.

A view past the ariels on Morrone to Beinn ‘a Buird. Still reasonable cover above 950 metres.
