A sunny calm day.

13th March 2020

It was a pleasant day on the hill. A covering of new snow made for some quality skiing in places. Older snow is very firm and icy.

Looking a lot more unsettled tonight/tomorrow, so for the moment, enjoy the views!

Glide crack above a corrie. There was also old debris in the corrie.

A ski patroller exploring the sculptures left by the strong overnight Northerly winds.

A view over West facing aspects to The Stuic.

The Cairnwell clearly showing East aspects are holding more snow.

Carn nan Sac. Most of the older snow is very firm and often icy.

A view towards Carn a Gheoidh. Still good ski touring options this way.

Glas Tulaichean. Ridges exposed to recent strong winds are scoured of snow.
