Wintery on the tops.

3rd February 2020

Although there is little snow at lower levels its still very wintry above 900 metres.  The winds were strong with some of last nights snow being blown around but mostly clear with reasonable views at times.

A surprisingly clear day with good views at times. Looking up to the West side of Lochnagar.

Snow above 900 metres but little below this level. However, very icy underfoot at all levels.

Deeper accumulations only in the most sheltered of areas. Cairn Bannoch in the distance.
