Lochnagar

Up to Lochnagar today and a wander round the rim of the corrie. A cloudy start but becoming clearer in the afternoon, as I was on the way down of course!
Most of the gully exits are in poor condition. Cornices are generally small but unstable.
Black Spout, Left-Hand. Slumped cornice and small crown wall. An avalanche was reported from this area at the weekend.
Poor visibility in the morning on the plateau.
The South Sector. Visibility improving in the afternoon.
Some sun and some drifting in slightly stronger winds.
Meikle Pap early afternoon.
