Snowing and blowing.

6th March 2019

Surprising to see snow falling down in the glens first thing this morning. It didn’t last long as the freezing level started to rise, reaching 900 metres by late morning. Above 850 metres conditions were generally poor with little visibility in the blowing snow and clouds.

A shallow covering of snow from 600 metres.

There was little to see above 900 metres.

Passing Meall Odhar cairn. Quite a contrast to last week when we were running around in shorts and tee shirts!
