Windy!

Although the winds were stronger today it was probably a better day than yesterday. Fluctuating freezing levels have helped consolidate recent deposits and reduce the amount of snow being redistributed round the hill.

 

Mountain hare on a sheltered aspect. 

 

With such strong winds this group made a sensible decision to head for the cafe.

 

Fluctuating freezing levels has helped stabilise many areas. Many exposed North to East aspects, such as Corrie Fionn are still are holding snow.

 

This lochan is mostly frozen.

 

Generally poor visibility today but there were occasional breaks.
