22nd February 2019

As I’m sure you know, it’s still mild, it was also quite windy today but with good visibility it made getting up on the tops worthwhile.

Nice to see a few walkers out today taking advantage of good underfoot conditions.

Normally this gully would be a regular ski descent for us but not this season- so far. Most of the snow is still very soft but there were a few icy patches higher up the hill.

On the Munro of Tolmount 958 metres.

Down Jocks Road into Glen Callater. Nice to see a few walkers around here.

There is an inevitability that our exploratory runs end up wading through burns. Fortunately with little snow melt, it’s not cold.
