Another cloudy day.
18th February 2019
Disappointingly cloudy again on the hills, however underfoot conditions remain good, relatively dry on the hills with clear tracks to cycle on. For a bit of inspiration it’s worth a reminder of the upcoming Braemar Mountain Festival. There’s a very impressive line up of practical sessions/talks/films.

Some less than impressive views today!

Remaining snow is often found around corrie rims. This was at 900 metres, generally better depth on the highest tops.

Not sure if the stalking ponies would prefer cold and dry or mild and wet. Regardless, they have a good stable and sheltered wood to go to when the weather is a bit rough.
