Calm and clear.

9th January 2019

For most of the day it was calm and clear. We set off from Inverey for Carn Bhac. This small Munro gives a great panorama of the main Cairngorms and is well worth the visit.

Despite the looks there is only a light covering of snow, frosty grass and heather helps it make look better than it is.

Good underfoot conditions for walking /running/biking at the moment.

Devils Point with Cairn Toul the bigger hill behind.

Isolated ankle deep accumulations in places.
