Spring Snowpack.

9th April 2018

The mild conditions continue with a sunny start to the day becoming cloudier in the afternoon. Snow cover is diminishing but still good above 800 metres. A few tourers and walkers out today.

Looking up towards Carn an Tuirc. Still a good ski for those still keen, a short ski carry to the snow with good cover up high.

Can nan Sac and Carn a Gheoidh in the background. Also still a good ski tour with plenty snow out of camera shot.

Walkers on the ridge. There is plenty of options if on foot. Occasional deep soft snow fields to cross but many areas breaking up lower down.
