Pea soup!
12th March 2018
Cloud base at 600 metres today and no visibility at 1000 metres, although it did feel like the sun was up there somewhere…
Soft wet snow below 700 metres, gradually firming up with altitude. Stability is greatly improved with a strong crust bridging the layered snow beneath.
More of the same for tomorrow but a greater possibility that the cloud will lift in the afternoon…(not holding my breath!)
No visibility for photos today – so only took one… of the first signs of life I saw…
