Snowfall on the way?

26th February 2018

Another bright and cold day. Looks like we’re getting some light snow tomorrow but followed by more significant amounts later Wednesday into Thursday.

Braemar and Ben Avon. Was a bit cloudy first thing this morning but improved as the day went on.

View towards Lochnagar. These are our worst aspects for cover. However, expecting some light showers/deposits on these aspects during Tuesday. Still great cover over the area elsewhere.

Beinn a Chaorainn. The main Cairngorms will see heaviest of the snow showers during Tuesday.

Glad Maol and Corrie Fionn. There will be little change to the firm surface layers in most of the area tomorrow. Keep an eye on forecasts Wednesday and Thursday, potential for heavy snowfall.
