After a promising start it clouded over with rain arriving in the afternoon. It also became milder with the freezing level going over the summits. Don’t panic though as it will be lowering again overnight with the snow expected to firm up quite nicely. Great for winter climbing – maybe not so pleasant for skiing…
My attempts at photography today were dire with a rain soaked lense producing very blurry shots. So thanks to Malcolm and Paul for sharing theirs.
Great to see Duddon & Furness MRT training in the area this weekend. A 5-6 hour drive up from the Lake District after a full working week, two days on the mountains followed by the long drive home and work tomorrow – good effort everyone.

Remembering it all is the challenge Gemma! We got the easy job, Sam had the bad weather up on the hill.
