All I want for Christmas….

24th December 2017

Hmm – well it was a very GREEN Christmas Eve spent playing the game of ‘Hunt the Snow Patch’ – which involves climbing to around 900 metres at the moment – Great for burning off any Pre-Christmas excess calories (Yes I may have accidentally opened the chocolates early!)

A very green Christmas Eve

On the bright side, it would seem that I’ve been ‘good’ as my letter to Santa seems to have worked and the freezing level is lowering overnight with some snow forecast. However, I might have not been quite as good as I should have been, as we have only been forecast 1.2cm of snow with the North-West forecast to receive 7.8cm…

48 hour outlook is for staying cold with a little more snow on the way – but don’t take the wrapping off your Christmas sledge just yet…

Happy Christmas from the South Cairngorm team
