Easter snow.
16th April 2017
It was snowing throughout the morning from around 800 metres today. Afterwards it started to clear with new snow melting quickly. Tomorrow looks a generally nice day but there may be the odd shower.
Old snow will remain firm. Any new snow will melt in the afternoon.
It snowed through until lunchtime but was melting fast this afternoon.
Can Carn Mor. There was a couple of centimetres of new snow on Lochnagar plateau.
Happy to see the snow back again.
Braemar Mountain Rescue were on the hill today. Looking at descent points on the crags and a bit of technical set ups.
Lochnagar cleared in the afternoon. Can you spot the team? High point on the left.
