A fine day.

23rd March 2017

it was a cloudy day but nice enough on the tops. Still very icy on the tracks and paths.

Mountain hare enjoying the view.

Ptarmigan. Some of them have become very mottled making them hard to spot.

Cairn Toul and the crags of Garbh Corrie. The main Cairngorms are still holding good cover up high.

Looking over towards Glas Tulaichean.

Cairn o Claise. Glas Maol and the crags of Caenlochaen. Patchy snow cover.

Thanks. Very little out that way. Snow mainly in the cores or in the main Cairngorms.
