Winters sting.

It was a welcome return to Winter conditions. Drifts were developing around hollows and in sheltered terrain.
Nice to feel a bit of Winter again!
Generally the snow cover is not deep but there were many localised drifts.
Some deep drifts were developing behind the snow fences.
Steady snowfall in the morning.
Usual position at a snowy pit site.
Winds and snowfall rates increased around noon.
