A snowy landscape.

29th January 2017

After some decent snowfall yesterday afternoon and last night it was great to be able to see the hills covered again. Some of this is quite thin but there were some areas that had depth.

Hills looking wintry. A few keen skiers were touring on Carn Aosda.

A sunny day with some cloud. It felt mild when sheltered from the light cool winds.

Snow drifts in lee locations.

4 legged snow-plough.

Deeper deposits were not extensive.

Great walking conditions but can be icy under the new snow.

Ski area looking a lot whiter!

A view down Glen Shee.
