Simply stunning

19th March 2016

Another simply stunning day with blue skies and very light winds. Slight change for tomorrow with cloud and moderate NW winds. The snow will be noticeably firmer as well, with a clear night allowing cold air to refreeze the surface layers and a cloud cover preventing the sun from softening them during the day. Watch out for those snow patches that are going to be a bit trickier to cross than the last few days….

Firm snow in the shade. Note the snow loss on the sunny slopes.
