Rain! Back to a good old Scottish snowpack today. Some cold dry snow in deeper deposits with superficial snow at lower levels rapidly disappearing.
Julian on some shallow avalanche debris.
There is some avalanche debris in the Corrie and also lots of snowballing on steep slopes.
Still snowy on the crags.
Many big thawing cornices are still in place as well, cornice collapse likely to be a significant hazard on Saturday.
