Post thaw.

29th January 2016

The rivers were running very high this morning. When the hills cleared you could see why. We’ve lost the most recent accumulations but the good news is old, harder cover is still reasonable above 800 metres or so.

It was also rather blowy today and quite a lot of blue sky at times, snow showers were generally short lived.

Water levels were high.
