Last day of the season

18th April 2015

Well folks its that time again – last post of the season

We’ve had some VERY windy & snowy weather  and more than our usual share of blue sky days…

The Southern Cairngorm team would like to say a BIG ‘Thank You’ to everyone who supports our work through the season. These include the friendly locals in Braemar, the fantastic team up at the Glenshee Ski Area, all the local estates for their help with access but especially Balmoral Estate who have been awesome.

Finally, our whole hearted thanks to the Police Scotland and Braemar Mountain Rescue Teams who play hosts to us all Winter – putting up with our smelly wet kit in the drying room – and supplying useful updates and great photos, as well as the odd lift! Thanks everyone….See you in December!
