New snow.

26th March 2015

It was very cloudy this morning, started to break when coming down Glas Maol. It certainly felt a bit more wintry up high but it was amazingly calm and without much wind it felt very mild, around 0 at 1000 metres. Good blanket of new snow, most of it on bare ground but where it’s accumulated on old snow it’s moderately bonded. Areas with depth are fairly isolated.  Bit sad walking through a deserted ski area where you’d expect a bit more snow at this time of year.

Pit site today. Around 30 cm of new snow.
