After 24 hours of thaw conditions it has turned colder again and the wet snow is really starting to firm up. Lower hills have been stripped of snow but the sheltered North and East facing corries still have plenty of snow in them. Conditions underfoot are firm and the run outs are now quite bouldery so take it steady out there…
