Wet and Windy

It has been a wet, mild and windy start to the new year, with a significant snow loss occurring. It’s not all bad news though, as the freezing level is forecast to lower rapidly tonight with snow showers arriving in the early hours and continuing throughout the day. Very strong winds though, so deposits will be drifting heavily. Any old snow will become firm and icy….
