A gentle thaw.

There was a fairly gentle thaw today which has helped consolidate the patchy snow cover.
Despite the strong winds there were a few ski tourers around, some making descents of Carn Aosda. Also out was Brian, I won’t tell you his age but he retired from Braemar Mountain Rescue 25 years ago and still manages to get out (preferably on ski) twice a week. Respect!
