SAIS International.

14th March 2014

It was SAIS international today as my glamorous assistant was Jacek, who is from Poland.  No stranger to digging pit’s he was soon shovelling snow.
The snow is consolidating well, although under a hard surface crust you’ll find much softer snow,  not  really a problem until big heavy cornices collapse onto it.
We had a quick foray into Carn Aosda backbowl, it was a bit windy, gusts in excess of 80 mph recorded this afternoon. The ski-ing and weather was described by Jacek as ‘very Scottish’.
(careful withe the volume!)
