Freezing levels are on the rise again, cornice collapse and full depth avalanches will again become a potential hazard.

Raeburns Gully. This picture is from earlier in March. Last night Braemar Mountain Rescue Team assisted two climbers who found themselves unable to exit the gully with poor snow quality and steep icy walls. A successful but late night!
