A wintry day.

21st March 2014

It was quite a wintry day out today. Up to 40cm of snow in some places. It had already started to consolidate in most places. Anything exposed to the wind was very icy.

No, not an avalanche! The lads at Glenshee were ‘snow farming’ today. They collect snow from a couple of sheltered areas and pack into the lower bits that are getting thin. They still have plenty of ski-ing away from the road and the cover is still good above 800 metres.
