Route choices

28th February 2014

Not a very exciting video but just to make a point. I worked into this area today, it’s a sheltered NE facing scarp slope, and snow has been drifting onto it all day. This was around noon. By 3-4 pm this area had avalanched. The avalanche also ran a fair distance, something that is likely to happen again. So route choices are important, take time to read the reports and keep your eyes open when your out and about this weekend. There is plenty of good terrain to go at.
