New snow today-thaw tommorow

22nd February 2014

Plenty of new snow around above 850 metres in sheltered locations.
There were signs of instability, even on fairly moderate terrain.

How many avalanches can you count driving along the A93? Look on the corries on the right. Most of them are from the last thaw. Speaking of which, another one tomorrow. Forecast to be very wet and very windy.
