Rime

21st January 2014

Poor visibility above 850 metres today but good for the skiers at Glenshee as it was largely free of cloud.
Working in relative safety on the edge of Corrie Fionn today, there was a large boom and rumble as another avalanche trundled downwards somewhere in the cloud over in the main Corrie. It was not the right conditions for a look, so I’ll leave it until it’s a bit clearer.  Looks like we’re getting plenty snow overnight, tomorrow could be interesting.
Everything was heavily rimed.

Hard work for the engineers clearing the lines.
