Precipitating!

19th January 2014

High amounts of precipitation, mostly falling as rain – initially right up to 900 metres this morning. Eventually though it fell as wet snow down to 800 metres.

The Allt na Giubhsaich took some crossing with a lot of water coming down off the hills. Wet feet at the start of the day is never a good thing!

Allt Darrarie descending into Glen Muick in full flow

The waterfalls on the River Muick (slightly hazy due to the quantity of spray!)

Looking a lot drier and colder for Monday, so hoping to get some views of the hills (whilst keeping my feet dry!)
