Lochnagar-ish.

1st January 2014

Had a wander up to Lochnagar today. Snowpack building well from 750 metres. Of course the usual- couldn’t see anything. Actually it wasn’t a bad day but there has been better. I went up to Red Spout, some of the gullies around there don’t have a cornice but have a very steep exit. That said the snow has refrozen in most locations.
Few people around running and walking up to the top, met a couple of lads from Braemar Mountain Rescue Team, I think this picture sums it up!  Anyway Happy New Year to all!
