Good cover above 800 metres.

28th December 2013

Good to see plenty skiers at Glenshee Ski Area today. The cloud level was around 850 so most of the runs were clear. Above this it was pea soup again. Met 2 ski tourers on top of Glas Maol, good effort. Snow cover is variable,  very icy in places, breakable crust in others. I think with some decent weather, there is probably some good ski tours to be had now.
About as good as it got! Summit Glas Maol today.
