| An isothermal snow profile in the rain. Water saturated surface layers above a melt freeze crust were not well bonded.
Looking down Coire Fionn. Many corries and burns are still holding good cover for the committed ski tourer. All the wet snow is due to firm up overnight as the freezing level drops. More snow overnight into Saturday before mild conditions set in later in tha day. |
