Old Avalanche Debris

Today was my first day back out in the hills after the major thaw last Sunday, so it was interesting to see which cornices had collapsed…. Parts of most of them seemed to be the answer
Some very large chunks of cornice came down
Looking up through the debris to the remaining (still quite large!) cornice
Looking down the debris pile. The large block, almost centre picture is a good 2m x 2m x 2m
