Blue Sky & Drifting

11th March 2013

It’s been a beautiful but very cold day with -11.4 degrees centigrade recorded at 930 metres at 7.00hrs. There is some great snow out there – and with the excellent visibility there was some great skiing to be had both on and off piste.

Word of warning though – the cold temperatures are maintaining an unstable snowpack and the cold dry deposits are drifting readily in the NNE/NE winds.
