Lochnagar

30th January 2013

The walk to Lochnagar is still a pretty slow affair at the moment. It was soft up until the turn off from the landrover track, after that it’s mostly refrozen snow. The Col was fairly blustery today, 60mph+ at times. I was going into the Corrie but given the conditions I was a bit slow.
Looking good for climbing at the moment, due more snow tomorrow though.

Cathedral area.

There was a fair amount of snow drifting around today. Only very sheltered areas had new deposits.
