Firstly an apology for so many pictures but it’s an attempt to show how the corrie is!
The two girls in the picture above by the first aid box climbed Raeburn’s yesterday (Thursday) reporting it to be in good condition. Not sure what they ended up doing today. Working in Leeds and on a visit north one of them commented on the widely held perception there is no snow and no climbing at the moment….but how wrong that view is.
There is significant snow forecast for tonight so it may well look very different tomorrow.

Looking up Parallel Gully A (on the left).

and above looking up B. The picture below is taken from the side.

A party of three head up into the bottom of Raeburn’s. The gully continues to the left out of sight from the top of the snow.

Douglas Gibson Gully above.

Finally….below is West Gully with two climbers visible at the bottom, one approaching the bottom ice pitch.
