Wet and Windy at Glenshee

25th January 2012

Srtuggling for a blog photo today!
This meter is linked to the top pylon of the Cairnwell chairlift. Slightly sheltered today by the top of the hill summit winds were considerably stronger.
Still some good (but damp) skiing on the Cairnwell.

This picture from 1963 is on the wall of the ski centre radio room. It is of the original Buthart’s T Bar which had a 90 degree dog leg half way up. Car park looks pretty busy!
The support that Glenshee Ski Centre gives to SAIS is greatly appreciated. Let’s hope they get some more snow soon.
