Lochnagar

Heading to Lochnagar from Crathie early this morning. Looking North-West over Ballochbuie Forest and River Dee to the corries of Beinn a Bhuird.
Raeburn’s Gully. Solo climber visible midway.
Looking into top of The Black Spout.
Snow in the corrie was firm today.
Climber visible in snow basin at top of gully.
The bottom half of Parallel Buttress from high on the West ridge. Ice becoming evident in parts of the corrie where there has been none recently.
Been here before?“The Watercourse” first climbed in 1975.
