The photo was taken near the fracture line for one the reported avalanches. We did not want to venture onto the steeper, convex slope nearby. The saw is stuck in the snow at the bottom of the soft slab sitting on the neve. Light was not ideal but if you tilt your screen may give a better view of the different layers.
