Southern Cairngorms Blog & Mountain Info

The thaw continues with some further snow loss. The higher corries are hanging on ok, most easy gullies have snow in them. The White Mounth plateau has become broken but it is still possible to tour. The freezing level is due to drop to 900 metres during Saturday afternoon.
