Looking across the White Mounth from Glas Maol

Looking WSW from Glas Maol

As you can see the snow cover has been significantly reduced over the past week. Thankfully the freezing level is forecast to lower to 900 metres tonight and stay there during Sunday. So at least above this altitude things should slowly start to refreeze and firm up. Unfortunately the buttresses are back to black but there are bits of ice around and the easier gullies still contain snow so there will be fun to be had somewhere.
