Graupel

5th February 2008

Not to much new snow today and wasn’t as windy either. Couldn’t see a thing above 850 metres. The snow cover is still quite good, broken from 600 metres with most aspects holding drifts, ice and rocks.

We seem to have had a lot of graupel recently, somthing we hadn’t had all season.
