Survival of the fattest

3rd January 2007

A rather uninspiring day. Temps around +5 at 900 metres and very windy. Some good news is we didn’t have too much rain so deeper snow has survived above 900 metres. It’s mostly in the corries so hopefully it’ll refreeze and some of the easier gullies will remain complete.
Freezing levels are due to be around 900 metres and a little bit more snow.
